Borderlands: The Handsome Collection is a compilation of two popular first-person shooter games developed by Gearbox Software: Borderlands 2 and Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel. It was released for the Xbox One, as well as PlayStation 4 and PC.
The collection includes both games along with all of their previously released downloadable content (DLC). Borderlands 2 is the sequel to the original Borderlands and continues the story of four Vault Hunters as they battle against the villainous Handsome Jack on the planet Pandora. Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel serves as a prequel, exploring the events leading up to Borderlands 2 on the moon of Pandora.
The Handsome Collection offers enhanced graphics and performance compared to the original releases. It supports cooperative multiplayer, allowing players to team up with friends online or via local split-screen to tackle the games' missions, complete side quests, and collect loot in a vast open-world setting. The collection also includes additional DLC content specific to each game.
As of my knowledge cutoff in September 2021, Borderlands: The Handsome Collection was a popular and well-received package, providing fans of the series with an opportunity to experience or revisit these two critically acclaimed games and their respective expansions on the Xbox One and other platforms.
