Luigi's Mansion GameCube

Luigi's Mansion is an action-adventure video game developed and published by Nintendo for the GameCube console. The game was first released in Japan in 2001, followed by releases in North America, Europe, and Australia later that year.

The game follows Luigi, Mario's younger brother, as he explores a haunted mansion in search of Mario, who has gone missing. Armed with a vacuum cleaner called the Poltergust 3000, Luigi must capture ghosts and solve puzzles to progress through the mansion and find Mario.

Luigi's Mansion was praised for its unique gameplay mechanics, which involved using the Poltergust 3000 to suck up ghosts and manipulate the environment. The game also featured impressive graphics for the time, with detailed character models and environments. The game's soundtrack, composed by Kazumi Totaka, was also well-received.

Despite being a departure from the traditional Mario formula, Luigi's Mansion was a commercial success, selling over 2 million copies worldwide. The game also spawned a sequel, Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon, which was released for the Nintendo 3DS in 2013, as well as a third installment, Luigi's Mansion 3, which was released for the Nintendo Switch in 2019.
