Description
Mega Man 4 is a classic action-platformer video game developed and published by Capcom for the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES). It was originally released in Japan in 1991 and later in North America and Europe in 1992.
In Mega Man 4, players take on the role of the blue robotic hero, Mega Man (also known as Rockman), who must once again defeat a group of evil Robot Masters to stop the nefarious plans of the villainous Dr. Wily. The game follows the familiar formula of the series, where players can select any of the eight initial stages, each belonging to a unique Robot Master, and upon defeating them, gain their special weapon.

- Ring Man
- Dust Man
- Skull Man
- Dive Man
- Drill Man
After defeating all eight Robot Masters, players progress to the fortress stages, where they face tougher challenges and eventually confront Dr. Wily himself.
Mega Man 4 introduced some new gameplay mechanics and features compared to its predecessors, including the ability to charge Mega Man's standard arm cannon for a more powerful shot. This became a staple in subsequent games in the series. Additionally, the game also introduced the character, Dr. Cossack, as the creator of the Robot Masters, who was initially believed to be the primary antagonist before Dr. Wily's true involvement is revealed.
Mega Man 4 received critical acclaim upon its release for its challenging gameplay, level design, and memorable music. It has since become a beloved entry in the Mega Man series and is fondly remembered by fans of classic NES games.
