Description
"Pokémon HeartGold Version" is a role-playing video game developed by Game Freak and published by Nintendo and The Pokémon Company. It is a remake of the original "Pokémon Gold Version" released for the Game Boy Color. "HeartGold Version" was released for the Nintendo DS handheld console on September 12, 2009, in Japan and March 14, 2010, in North America.
In "Pokémon HeartGold Version," players revisit the Johto region, a location introduced in the second generation of Pokémon games. As a Pokémon Trainer, the player embarks on a journey to become the Pokémon Champion, collecting and training Pokémon creatures while battling Gym Leaders and foiling the plans of the villainous Team Rocket.
The game features an enhanced graphical presentation compared to the original "Gold Version," taking advantage of the capabilities of the Nintendo DS. The gameplay mechanics remain similar to other Pokémon games, with players exploring towns, routes, and dungeons while capturing and evolving Pokémon to assemble a powerful team.
"Pokémon HeartGold Version" includes various enhancements and new features compared to the original Game Boy Color version.
