Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles IV: Turtles in Time is a side-scrolling beat 'em up game developed and published by Konami for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES). Released in 1992, it is the fourth installment in the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles video game series and is based on the popular animated TV show.
In Turtles in Time, players control one of the four Ninja Turtles—Leonardo, Donatello, Michelangelo, or Raphael—as they battle their way through various levels and time periods to rescue their friend, April O'Neil, and defeat their arch-nemesis, the Shredder. The game offers both single-player and cooperative multiplayer modes, allowing two players to team up and play simultaneously.
The gameplay consists of navigating through side-scrolling levels filled with enemies, including Foot Soldiers, Mousers, and other iconic TMNT villains. The Turtles can perform a variety of attacks, including punches, kicks, and special moves, which are unique to each character.
